You will be invited to our studio situated at Whitfield Business Hub in Heswall on the Wirral, or we can arrange visiting you on site, whichever works best for the podcast. You will be greeted by Charlotte, our head of production, who will be hosting your podcast. Prior to filming you will discuss how the podcast is going to run from start to finish and which direction to expect it to go in. The whole process is super relaxed.
A podcast can take anywhere between 20 minutes to a full hour to film dependant on topic. We do try to manage expectations on this whilst understanding the topic and content within the topic and also provide you with some tips to minimise the content. There are some statistics to show that people begin to lose concentration past 20 minutes, so unless there are some bitesized chunks of information throughout we would always plan for a podcast to feature around 20 minutes in length. However if it runs over, it may be that we can use elements as bitesized bits of information to share on other platforms.
No, it’s totally up to you. If you just wish to record audio you are more than welcome, but we do advise that video and audio work the best as they can be shared across platforms as stand alone video or audio and why not have the option!
